Once I remembered to add sugar to my homemade hummingbird food, the hummers have been buzzing around like crazy! Talk about feeling silly! I kept noticing that the hummingbirds were taking a sip, but not staying and drinking....until I remembered that I'd heated the water and added the food coloring, but forgot the sugar. A true "blonde" moment!
